A remodel of an older restaurant into a music venue. I only photographed the bar area this time.
A new club and restaurant, designed by the Food Network’s ‘Restaurant Impossible’ designer Lynn Kegan, is in the cards for the old Mia Roma location along State Route 522 in Kenmore. Capps Club is scheduled to open this spring said owner Dawna Capps, where they’re planning on bringing in live musical and comedy acts as well as offering a bar and Italian-inspired menu.
It’s so thrilling around here when the sun pops out. This does point out the frustration I have, however, with photographers who think that “natural light is the best”. Hogwash. The sun was out through my kitchen window and was good for about 14 minutes. Then crap. A professional photographer cannot work like that. You have to make your own light. Then you can shoot all day.
I used to work for a food magazine and have photographed most of the restaurants in Seattle… But, that doesn’t mean too much because every ten minutes someone starts a new restaurant in Seattle…. Anyway here is a collection… Call this part 2.
